A thin patch or a hole in the sole can be fixed with a half sole. Half soles for women's shoes, rubber soles for men's shoes and leather soles for smart shoes.
New shoes with a leather sole? A thin rubber protective sole stops the leather sole wearing quickly and makes the shoe less slippery on wet pavements. It is the simplest way to keep a good pair looking good for a long time.
Replacing a zip in a boot
A broken zip in a boot is annoying, because the boot itself is often still fine. We take out the old zip, fit a sturdy new one in the same length and colour and stitch the lining neatly closed.
