Who we are
Small Couture is the tailoring atelier of Pierre Hassan at Wagenaarstraat 209, 1093 CN Amsterdam, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) under number 16695107. You can reach us on 020 668 5404 or via WhatsApp on 06 29991555. Small Couture is the controller responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this statement.
Which data we process
If you call us, send us a WhatsApp message or visit the atelier, we process the data you give us yourself: your name, telephone number, your email address if applicable, the photos and the description of the garment, and what we agree with you about the repair or the made to measure work.
Through the website itself we do not collect any personal data, unless you give consent for statistics (see Cookies and statistics). Our hosting provider keeps technical log files containing your IP address in order to keep the website secure and available.
What we use your data for
We use your data only to answer your enquiry, to make an appointment, to carry out the order and to let you know when your garment is ready. The legal basis for this is the performance of the contract with you, or our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry.
We do not use your data for newsletters or advertising and we never sell it to third parties.
If you send us a photo via WhatsApp, that message passes through the servers of WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.). The WhatsApp privacy policy applies to this. We keep your messages and photos only for as long as necessary for the order.
How long we keep data
We keep contact details and photos relating to an order until the order has been completed and paid for, and after that for no longer than necessary for any questions or guarantee. We keep data on receipts and invoices for seven years, because the Dutch Tax Administration (Belastingdienst) requires this.
Who we share data with
We share your data only with parties that are necessary to make the website and our services work: our hosting provider (STRATO) for displaying the website, WhatsApp for the messages you send us, and Google for anonymous visitor statistics if you give consent for this. The legally required agreements have been made with these parties. Beyond this we do not share any data, unless the law obliges us to do so.
Cookies and statistics
The website works without cookies. Only if you click Accept in the cookie banner do we load Google Analytics to measure anonymously how the website is used. Your IP address is masked in the process and we do not share any data with Google for advertising. Our cookie statement explains exactly which cookies these are and how you can change your choice.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to a processing operation. Call or message us and we will arrange it. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Security and changes
The website uses a secure connection (https). We will amend this statement when necessary; the date at the top shows when this was last done.
